As you probably know, today there will be a total solar eclipse across parts of the United States. In Connecticut, this will be seen as a partial eclipse – beginning around 1:25 pm, the sun will appear about 70% covered at its peak around
2:45 this afternoon. To avoid permanent eye damage, please do not look directly at the sun during the eclipse, unless you have purchased special eclipse viewing glasses. Read
