The technical schedule for the 2017 Fall NEARC Conference is available to review online. This year's program will consist of oral and poster user sessions, Esri
technical sessions, workshops, lightning talks, panel presentations, and three keynotes.

The conference schedule is hosted in SCHED which allows you to search within the schedule, and filter the schedule to show items only occurring on a certain date

– GIS - reflects and reinforces all the best trends in education today: 21st century technologies, problem-based learning, inquiry, STEM, and interdisciplinary investigation.
At GIS Educators Day, you’ll spend an entire day networking with and learning from like-minded K-16 educators. Get hands-on practice with the newest GIS tools and
applications, hear presentations about amazing things other educators are doing with GIS, and discover the range of topics they’re exploring with this formidable tool. At GIS Educators Day, you’ll get tips and tricks for GIS implementation from the best educators
in the field. There’s something here for everyone.
GIS Educators Day is a one-day pre-conference to NEARC’s annual professional user conference which will run from November 5 - 8 at the Newport Marriott in Newport,
Rhode Island.

Overnight accommodations are available at the Newport Marriott at a discounted group rate of $155/night plus tax (currently at 13%).
Reservations must be made on or before the cut-off date of Monday,
October 16, 2017 in order to be eligible for the group rate. Please be aware that NEARC works on behalf of its constituents by negotiating favorable rates with the host
hotel, and receives complimentary meeting space and other concessions because of our room block contract commitment with the hotel. A discounted registration rate is available to attendees staying at the Newport Marriott! To make a reservation,
