Dear international students,

At this mid-point in the semester, you might find that you are struggling with your coursework. October 30th is the final day that students may drop a course from their schedule. Remember, international students may not drop below full-time study unless they have permission from ISSS first. If you are having academic or medical difficulties to maintain a full time course load, it may be possible for ISSS to authorize you to drop below a full time course of study. After getting permission from ISSS, you may follow the academic procedures to withdraw from a course. Full time study requirements and information on reducing your course load below full-time can be found on the ISSS Study Requirements<http://isss.uconn.edu/students/current-students/study-requirements-for-f-1j-1-students/> webpage. Visit ISSS Storrs<http://isss.uconn.edu/about/contact-isss/>, Stamford<http://isss.uconn.edu/stamford/> or Hartford<http://isss.uconn.edu/hartford/> during Walk In Advising hours or schedule an appointment<http://isss.uconn.edu/about/staff-directory/> with your international advisor to learn about taking a reduced course load, or academic resources available to help you with your courses.
