Good Evening NASNA –
The State of New Hampshire is looking to hire a GIS Database Administrator/IT Specialist to work in our Laconia office. We are looking for a well-rounded applicant that has experience with database management (preferably SQL Server), project
management, server maintenance and networking configurations. Some personnel management will be required but mostly it will be data and technology management.
New Hampshire directly manages the ALI Database, the GIS Address Database, CAD system and the statewide emergency notification system so there are a lot of opportunities for hands-on work with many different 9-1-1 systems. In addition,
this position also will be responsible for technical support and troubleshooting PSAP/CPE systems.
We are a small IT group and while each position has its specialty, we all are versed in the many aspects of running IT at New Hampshire 911, from VMware clusters to desktop and printer support. You can find the posting here:
