Hello All, looking for some help with FME. I’m looking for a transformer(s) that will allow me to populate a new attribute based on another attribute, but only for certain values in a different attribute. Clear as mud right. What I’m
trying to do is assign a vertical order to space polygons, floor polygons as well as floorplan lines based on the floor ID, but only a certain vertical order for some buildings but a different order for some others. So for example, for most buildings, assign
vertical order -3 for floor B (for Basement). But, not all buildings have floors on the same vertical order, so for all buildings that aren’t say 337, make vertical order 1 for floor 1, but make vertical order 1 for floor 2 of building 337, because floor
2 of 337 lines up with floor one of another building. Not sure if I’m making sense. I know how to do it say in a query or SQL, but I didn’t know if anyone knew of a way to do this in FME so it’s automated.
