We're hiring! The Vermont Center for Geographic Information is seeking a creative individual with strong communication skills to join our all-star team of dedicated GIS professionals here in Montpelier, Vermont. With a mission to empower a wide diversity of partners with geospatial technologies and data driven decision making, this position will serve as the primary point of contact for VCGI and coordinate communication and activities for GIS projects and programs in the State of Vermont. Responsibilities and tasks of this position include: supporting Vermont's statewide property parcel data program and municipal and regional planning efforts, training diverse audiences to use specific geospatial technologies/tools, producing multimedia training content, coordinating professional development and outreach events, and responding to ad hoc requests for information and maps.
