Hello, all.

I’m investigating replacing the paper field sketch books our inspectors use with an app for the iPad. If anyone has tried something like this, I’d love to hear what app(s) worked well, and how you set things up. My goal is that the sketches should be easy to attach to the spatial data for the project, and the functionality should be similar to using pencil and paper. App features that I think are important include text boxes, straightedges or grids, snapping, point/polygon creation, copy/paste, and ability to export to pdf or an image. The closest I’ve found so far is SketchBox for Android, but they don’t seem to have an Apple version.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Jay
