Hello all, It is email messages like Amy’s that embody the purpose of this listserv! Thank you to those that reached out to help Amy. We truly are a helpful group of GIS professionals. I’d like to take this opportunity to remind folks what the NEARC-Listserv is for. The purpose is to facilitate communication among NEARC members. The list can be used for non-commercial purposes including posting announcements about meetings, seminars and conferences, raising questions about data availability, finding GIS applications, troubleshooting GIS issues, etc. Glad your green dots have disappeared, Amy! Scott and others suggested just rebuilding the map, by copying and pasting layers into a new map....that worked, and was so much easier than I anticipated! It is wonderful for someone like me, who just tried to teach herself ArcGIS (with the help of a couple of ESRI classes), to be able to get advise so quickly from experts. I don't know what the dots were, but I'm glad they are gone. LIke measles.
