Hello Jana Roberson,

These paper maps are available in the State Geological Survey archives at DEEP in Hartford.

I am not aware of any digital copies.

They have been superseded with newer mapping in 1992 and 1995.

A good online resource for sand and gravel is the Surficial Materials Map of Connecticut, (Stone et al, 1992) compiled from 24K digital maps.

Available through DEEP and UConn

If you’d like to see the CT DOT construction aggregate maps, let me know.

Subject: [CTGIS-L] Construction Aggregate Maps

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the construction aggregate maps prepared for CTDOT (probably CT Highway Dept. then) in the 1960’s or 70’s?

We used to have them at the (now defunct) Windham Region Council of  Governments.

Thank you.
