Brief Description of Internship Position:

 

The intern will assist with field collection of drainage structures (culverts, stormdrains, manholes) using a tablet and ArcGIS Collector.  This information will be used to help map the hydrology of the watershed.

 

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Locate drainage structures in the field using an ArcGIS Collector map.

 

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

 

Ability to utilize an iPad in an outdoor setting, sometimes near areas with high vehicular traffic.

Familiarity with geography of the Wachusett Watershed (Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Sterling, West Boylston).

 

Hours per week:

 

Minimum of two days per week at 7.5 hours per day.  This is negotiable.

 

Other relevant information:

Must have a valid Drivers License.
