Hi,

Here’s a great article about a new revolutionary design to the scientific poster. https://www.mainepublic.org/post/save-science-poster-researchers-want-kill-it-and-start-over  It is a bold, visual change from the norm.  Even though it cuts down the room for your maps, data and text, it highlights Your Big Idea and uses QR codes to link folks to your work.  You could link to a video, and/or a story maps, or to maps, data and models, etc.

Just want to remind everyone that the 2019 Fall NEARC Conference will be held Sunday, October 20 - Wednesday, October 23 at Sunday River Resort in Newry, Maine.  Submission date is July 17, 2019 for posters and presentations.  https://www.northeastarc.org/fall-nearc.html

The Host Committee wants people to know about this new poster format, but we are not endorsing or requiring it over the tradition format.  Do what you like, but think about submitting a poster or presentation, and coming to the Western Hills of Maine in October for Fall NEARC.

Cheers,

Chris
