This is being sent to the 4-H Fair, New Haven & Middlesex 4-H Mailing Lists:

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2019 4-H Fair – members, parents and volunteers. It was a nice fair and we hope you got a lot out of the experience. A couple things:

1.	Home arts entries – a limited number of home arts entries/ribbons and judging cards were left behind. IF you feel you are missing something, please email Peggy with a description of the article. The remaining items will be disposed of after Labor Day.
2.	October Fair Meeting date change: due to conflicts in scheduling, the October election/evaluation meeting has been rescheduled to November 1st. We are planning on holding it at the St. Andrews Church in Northford, starting at 7:00 pm. We are still looking for members to fill the nominating slate. If you did not submit your name or speak to a current officer or fair advisor, please email Stephanie Bicknell at [log in to unmask] or hit reply to this email. Give your name, age and officer position you are interested in. People can also be nominated from the floor.
3.	Adult volunteers are being sought to fill the role of officer mentor – please let either Stephanie, Peg or Emily know if you are interested in being considered.
4.	Top Gun applications – there was a bit of confusion about the deadline for the Top Gun submissions. They will be accepted until close of business on September 15 – please mail, email or fax to either 4-H office by that time. An application is attached to this email.
5.	Year end awards – packets for year-end awards were handed out to leaders at the 4-H Fair, along with record book ribbons. Forms are also attached to this email or can be downloaded from the New Haven 4-H website or the 4-H Fair website. If you need hard copies, let Peggy or Emily know.

The date for Achievement Night/Fair Annual meeting is Sunday, November 17. We will be starting earlier, probably 4:00 ish – more information about plans will be forth coming

To recap:
Fair Meeting will be Friday, November 1st, 7 pm at St. Andrews Church in Northford

Achievement Night – Sunday, November 17 – more info to follow
