YOU are a talented and skilled GIS professional who toils each day to achieve greatness by using your knowledge and GIS tools to solve challenging problems and answer perplexing questions!

WE are the Connecticut GIS User Network, and we want to showcase your work and maps on GIS Day at Eastern Connecticut State University on Wednesday, November 13!

THIS is your opportunity to come out of the shadows and feel the spotlight as you share your work in a presentation to your peers! Show us and tell us about what you’ve been working on over the past year in a 20 minute presentation plus questions and answers OR submit a poster that highlights your latest and greatest GIS accomplishment! That map, that app, that tool or analysis, is your ticket to GIS glory and fame! We are especially looking for presentations in the areas of Government, Public Safety, Transportation, and Utilities, though ALL topics will be considered. Posters can be a map or a project presentation mounted and display ready!

THIS is an amazing professional development opportunity! It can be an exceptional chance to garner support and receive recognition for your project, as well as solicit valuable feedback. You will be sharing your experience with other talented, diverse, and engaged peers who want to hear from you. Your active participation in the GIS Day event will help us to provide the very best in high-level, relevant, and thought provoking ideas pertinent to the GIS community throughout the state!
