On behalf of Esri and the Boston Public Library, you are invited to attend an interactive workshop on Web Mapping using ArcGIS online.  The workshop will be held at Kirstein Business Library and Innovation Center, Boston Public Library, 700 Boylston St, Boston, Ma, 02116.

Come and learn how to get started with web mapping! Web mapping is accessible and applicable to anyone who needs to visualize, analyze and communicate using maps. In this hands-on workshop you will be introduced to web mapping concepts and make use of easy-to-use tools in ArcGIS Online to create and interact with online maps. You'll create a map that shows Hawaii's volcanoes, volcano shelters, and volcano hazard zones. By organizing data and changing its appearance, you'll present this information in a legible and understandable way. Then, you'll share your map as a professional-looking web app so others can explore it.

No software licenses are required for this workshop. Free, public ArcGIS Online accounts can be used or feel free to use an existing ArcGIS Online organizational account if you have one. Laptops for the workshop will be provided by the Kirstein Business Library and Innovation Center

We look forward to having you join us at this great event.  Please contact the Esri Boston office with any further questions at [log in to unmask]
