ICOU Candlelight vigil and gathering for the beloved people lost in the UIA Flight 752 Tragedy

 

On Wednesday, January 8th, the world has experienced yet another tragedy with the crash of the Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in Iran. This crash has resulted in the loss of all 176 passengers aboard, a large number of which were students and university staff in Canada returning from their homes for the holiday season. Many members of our very own UConn family have been both directly and indirectly affected by this tragedy. There will be a gathering in the ISSS Lounge and candlelight vigil to follow outside from 12 to 2 in loving memory of those lost in the tragic plane crash. Iranian Cultural Organization of UConn invites you to join us in honoring their memory.
