Only issue I've seen with syncing is when the system is trying to sync over a cellular connection. On field trips/fieldwork, I don't attempt sync until back where we are on a good WiFi network. Since then we have been having sync issues. When we try to sync, two things happen. Either the sync times out or the iPAD crashes but still seems to sync the data.
