Have you ever wanted to mentor a young adult interested in geospatial technology? Or, do you have a teen in your family who might be interested in mapping or conservation science? Maybe a partner, friend, or family member that is a high school science teacher? If you answered yes to any of these, then check out the Conservation Training Partnerships (CTP) program within the Natural Resources Conservation Academy at UConn!

CTP is a NSF-funded program that trains teen and adult teams in geospatial technology and conservation stewardship. Teams participate in a free two-day workshop where they learn to apply conservation and mapping tools in the field. They then go on to design and complete a small conservation project in their community.

Applications are now open for THREE FREE CTP workshops being held across the state in June – find one near you: http://nrca.uconn.edu/students-adults/<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnrca.uconn.edu%2Fstudents-adults%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7C90415d12e4e24912ccb308d7c5e69200%7C17f1a87e2a254eaab9df9d439034b080%7C0%7C0%7C637195466383271558&sdata=DDq%2BmtGZ933yH%2F7SrznqvT8RpadXuHGoURZSXSfNe2Y%3D&reserved=0>
