Virtual Town Hall - TODAY

We would like to remind you to watch the Virtual Town Hall for International Students today at 2 pm. For those of you who cannot view live, the meeting will also be recorded and posted for later viewing. Watch the Town Hall here.

 

While today’s live stream will be broadcast through facebook, you do not have to have a facebook account to view it. The recording will be posted to platforms other than facebook, in case this platform is difficult to access in certain countries.

 

#UConnGlobalAtHome

An announcement will soon be sent to you about the #UConnGlobalAtHome initiative, which is a new program to help keep international students connected to each other and the UConn community through a variety of fun activities. One aspect of this program is a mentorship program for international students who can be paired with international visiting scholars for regular check-ins throughout this time. Students who indicated in the ISSS Student Engagement Survey that they would like to be paired with someone will soon receive an email from a scholar mentor. If you are an international student and you would like to be connected with a scholar mentor, please send an email to [log in to unmask] with your request. Include your full name and 7-digit student ID number (Peoplesoft #). If you are a UConn international visiting scholar who is interested to be a mentor, please contact Leslie Lawrence at [log in to unmask].
