Good Morning GIS Friends,

On behalf of the CT GIS Network Education Committee, I’d like to congratulation the winners of the 2020 CT Maps Competition. This is an Esri-sponsored contest for middle and high school students across the country. The top two state winners go on to compete nationally with student projects from 35 other states. Esri will announce the two national winners on June 1, so keep your eyes open for that. Congratulations to all of this year’s participants. They worked hard to create wonderful StoryMaps despite challenging times and distance learning. Be sure to check out the two winning StoryMaps below as well as other top award winners. All of these projects are now available on the CT GIS Network website.
