Blue Marble Geographics® (bluemarblegeo.com)  announced today the release of the 2020 version of Geographic Calculator. The coordinate conversion and transformation toolkit will now include Remote Desktop Protocol or RDP-enabled licensing for Single-User Floating licenses for professionals working remotely.  RDP allows a user to remotely access the software hosted on one machine from another machine.  A very appropriate tool for these uncertain times when many of us are working remotely.

In addition to RDP, the 2020 version of Geographic Calculator also includes many other new features and improvements, such as new magnetic declination models including World Magnetic Model 2020 and IGRF13, support for converting lidar using local best-fit engineering coordinate systems, new early-bound coordinate systems allowing a coordinate system to be paired with a datum transformation to streamline business rules on commonly used transformations, Enterprise Datasource to streamline updates in an enterprise-wide deployment with an automatic update function to keep users in sync, and support for Geoid 18 for the United States.
