Good Afternoon,
I hope this email finds you well during these times. We would like to invite you to join us for the World-Wide Human Geography Data (WWHGD) Working Group's 50th Retrospective Event discussing a topic on many of our minds: Planetary Health. The cross-disciplinary nature of Planetary Health requires the attention from many fields the WWHGD has held events on in the past. Therefore, we will have presenters from previous WWHGD events as well as new experts to discuss this important topic that is critical to human security and the future of our planet. The WWHGD (co-chaired by the National-Geospatial Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Department of State - additional information on the WWHGD can be found below) is hosting this all-day virtual event to discuss the openly-available geospatial data needed now and the importance it will hold in the future.
Although this is an all-day event, please feel free to attend at any given part of the day that interests you most. Please find the newly released event agenda attached for more details on each section listed below:
