The University of Vermont is a leader in the use of geospatial technologies and research, ranging from creating new information data sets to applied research in support of decision making. 

UVM Continuing & Distance Education and Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources is launching a new fully online Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Data Communication Professional Certificate this fall. The program, serving professionals with different academic backgrounds and a variety of disciplines, emphasizes knowledge of concepts and theory for critical problem-solving.

Join Dr. Gillian L. Galford, program director for the Certificate and UVM’s Geospatial Technologies, as she walks us through two exciting new online course offerings in a free, information session on Thursday, July 23 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. EST.
