Hi Rob,

I have a colleague/friend who has spent a TON of time working in this area. He was originally at geospatial technologies specialist at the University of Arizona, but he now works at the UN in the Convention to Combat Desertification (https://www.unccd.int). This website may be too technical or bureaucratic, but perhaps you/they can find what you need somewhere on the site.
