Greetings NEARC Community:

Two upcoming AAG webinars—this Friday 11/6 and on 11/20—focus on options and opportunities for students interested in careers in geography and geotechnologies.

So please pass the word to students—grad and undergrad alike—that they are welcomed and encouraged to join either or both sessions.

To join this webinar, please visit: https://esri.zoom.us/j/96722471197?pwd=SXZkVGp2eWJtcm1MVnVUS2YydkMvdz09#success [esri.zoom.us]

This week’s AAG webinar, Charting Your Career Pathway in Geography and Geotechnologies, will be led by Joseph Kerski from 1-2 p.m. Eastern Time, November 6, 2020.

Dr. Kerski, currently with Esri Denver, has served as geographer in four sectors of society (industry, government, nonprofit, and academia) and promises to make this a lively and informative workshop where you are welcome to interact and ask questions.

The second careers session is scheduled for November 20, 2020 , 4-5pm ET.  Careers in Geography: A Discussion among Geographers in the Business, Government, and Nonprofit Sectors

Links, information, and recordings for the entire fall webinar series can be found at: http://www.aag.org/careerwebinars.

All the best, Ken
