Hi folks

Can anyone provide me with a summary of efforts that have been undertaken over the years to get a statewide dataset of land parcels (like the project that MASSGIS undertook)?  I am curious to know what the rationale is for not doing this because it is a critical foundation for evidence-based decision-making.
