Hello CT GIS users and friends of CT GIS!

Feel free to share this with anyone whom you might think would benefit from this! TOMORROW, March 5, from 8:30 AM to 12 noon, we will be holding our next Connecticut GIS Network Meeting! Make plans to attend now! This FREE opportunity only comes around once every 3 months and THIS one is INCREDIBLY special so you DO NOT want to miss it! In addition to the usual fire hydrant of education and information, we will be holding our annual business meeting including our annual elections for the Network Steering Committee. THIS is your opportunity to “join the team” and become “part of the band”. We have opportunities for folks in State organizations, education/academia, and non-profit groups, as well as some “Member at large” positions that ANYONE of you can proudly step into. We would love to have you and your input on decisions the organization makes. If you are interested in being on the Steering Committee in one of these capacities, please let me know ASAP! It’s a great way to make a difference in the State GIS community.

As for the powerhouse of knowledge for this meeting, we will follow an agenda that includes:

- Professional Networking time

- General Network welcome

- Digitizing a form using Survey123

- Augmented Reality and Utilities

- Connecticut State GIS Legislation efforts

- Finding Funding through Grants for GIS

- Network updates and election of new steering committee members
