Have you ever wanted to mentor a young adult interested in geospatial technology? Or, do you know a teen who might be interested in mapping or conservation science? If so, then check out the Conservation Training Partnerships (CTP) within the Natural Resources Conservation Academy at UConn!
CTP is a NSF-funded program that trains teen and adult teams in geospatial technology and conservation stewardship. Teams participate in a free two-day workshop where they learn to apply conservation and mapping tools in the field. With support from program instructors, they then design and carry out a small conservation project in their community.
