Howdy, I am working with the Farmington Canal Rail to Trail
Association. We have some maps that have been made with Google My
Maps, showing locations of Kiosks and benches, but it would be really
nice if we could get it so that the user's device location could show
up on the map as they are looking at it. This doesn't seem to be
possible with Google My Maps. Is there a way to accomplish this
elsewhere without too much cost or hassle? I think ArcGIS Online used
to let you add a location widget to a web app, but it seems like they
took that away in recent updates. Let me know if you folks have any
ideas.
