After a brief overview of the key components of the software, attendees will examine several lidar and point cloud editing and filtering techniques, including automatic classification, noise removal, and positional rectification. The instructor will show the attendees the required steps for transforming ground points into a DTM before introducing an array of terrain analysis procedures, including volume calculation, contour generation, and change detection.
