Esri published a short article concerning the Log4j and security concerns associate with this service. This impacts implementations of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 and earlier versions. Short of upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 or higher, Esri does not have a fix yet for this issue. See the link below for more information.

This may also impact ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and Esri  Managed Cloud Services, though to a lesser extent.
