As you may know, Connecticut is expected to experience a significant snowstorm starting tonight, into tomorrow. Students who live off campus should make sure to get groceries today for the weekend if you have not already done so and review your rental lease if you are unsure if you are responsible for snow removal. Students who live on-campus should follow directions from the University regarding move-in and on-campus dining availability (check your UConn email). Snowstorms can sometimes lead to power outages, so make sure your devices are charged, and that you have any supplies you need in case you lose light/heat (flashlight, warm layers, hats/gloves, blankets, food that does not require cooking, etc.). Travel tomorrow will be dangerous. Students who are arriving this weekend may face travel delays and route cancellations due to the storm. Do not try to travel to UConn on Saturday - it is better to stay in a hotel local to your arrival destination and then travel here when it is safe to do so.
