It is GIS Network Election season again. We are seeking nominations for the Steering Committee. Nominate yourself or someone you think would be a good fit. All are welcome to apply for any of the 9 Open Rolls this year.

  *   Fill out the Nomination Form. Name, title, email, and blurb. Forms due by 2/23/2022.
  *   Members will be elected at the February 2022 CTGIS Meeting on 2/25/2022 using Zoom Polling Tools.
     *   Results revealed immediately.
     *   Nominees will have their blurbs showcased on the screen (no public speaking required).
  *   A short Steering meeting held directly after for selection of executive members.

  *   Influence GIS policy at the state level.
  *   Rapidly expand your GIS professional network.

Responsibilities.

  *   Sector Rolls should serve as a representative for the sector.
     *   Establish communications line with professionals in your sector
     *   Bring sector concerns, requests, policy needs to steering team
     *   Recommend speakers in that sector for GIS meetings
  *   Help organize CT GIS Network Meetings.
  *   Participate in GIS conversation in CT
  *   Meetings held monthly 30 Min-1hr

Note: Applicants who apply for a Sector Themed roll and did not win will be automatically rolled into the “Member at large” ballot.

We’re having the new State Geographic Information Officer (GIO) Alfredo Herrera to share the latest on the states GIS agenda! Stay tuned for the official invite and roster of presentations, coming soon!
