We want to remind international students and visiting scholars that if you are planning a trip outside the U.S. during spring break, you must:
-
(Students) Submit a Travel
Information Record with an up-to-date enrollment verification from the Registrar. You can request your enrollment verification from the UConn Registrar by email or in person. Submit this every time you travel outside the U.S.
-
(Visiting scholars) Log in to the
Scholar/Employee
Portal
with email and password (do NOT use UConn NetID). Click on Requests > Travel Signature. Submit this every time you travel outside the U.S.
-
All students and visiting scholars need a valid travel signature from ISSS on your I-20 or DS-2019 form to present when returning from your trip. When we receive your travel information record (students) or travel signature request (scholars)
we will evaluate whether you need a new travel signature on your form, and issue one if needed.
- If you are traveling internationally for summer, ISSS at Storrs is planning a
travel signature week from April 25-29. You can wait until then to submit your request. More details will be shared soon. Students and scholars who attend other campuses should await further guidance from your ISSS advisor about deadlines to request
a travel signature in time for summer travel.
