Hey everyone,

I wanted to spread the word about these two job postings DCR has for candidates with GIS experience. Feel free to share with other colleagues/students. Although they say that they are seasonal, both positions have been approved to also have a winter season meaning the year is split up into two contracts and the work is year-round. I previously was in one of these positions and was hired on full time, so that's a possibility as well. Please apply through the links but feel free to reach out to me with any questions. More descriptive information if you follow each link.

There are applications for managing assets, tracking workflows, visualizing resources and collecting data. There are many programs and activities at DCR that still need applications in AGOL or existing applications that need expanded functionality. The GIS Applications Assistant will help develop new AGOL web applications and Story Maps. Identify new techniques with AGOL to solve data and visualization needs at DCR. And train staff in how to use applications. Salary: $1731.12 Bi-weekly https://massanf.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobdetail.ftl?job=220003MH&tz=GMT-04%3A00&tzname=America%2FNew_York
Seasonal Land Records & Database Coordinator: DCR manages the land records for all of its holdings, including new acquisitions in paper and digital formats. DCR is moving its headquarters location and needs to prepare by culling, organizing and possibly digitizing its paper land records. The Land Records Coordinator will also assist with updating and maintaining the GIS Open Space data layer and work with the GIS Director to create StoryMaps and Webapps with ArcGIS Online.  Salary: $2301.93 Bi-weekly https://massanf.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobdetail.ftl?job=2200036K&tz=GMT-04%3A00&tzname=America%2FNew_York
