Talk Title: Moving Plane Method on Hyperbolic Spaces

Abstract: We use the moving plane method to show that nontrivial solutions to some higher order elliptic equations have symmetry property on the entire hyperbolic spaces as well as on bounded domains. We will also consider equations involving fractional Laplacians and derive the similar symmetry results. I will first introduce the background of the problems and the hyperbolic spaces. We then focus on Green’s function estimates of different operators which are heavily needed in the proof.
