The GIS Data/Project Coordinator will provide essential mapping and GIS application support (data curation and administration) to the maintenance of the University of Maryland’s Campus Enterprise GIS platform. The GIS Data/Project Coordinator works as a core member of the Campus GIS team in Facilities Management coordinating complex interdepartmental enterprise GIS projects, managing the campus’ geographic and facilities data for interactive map viewers and other data visualization applications, and assisting with enterprise GIS user account and content administration. The position develops and maintains project and workflow documentation, provides university staff and end-user training and support, and is responsible for supervising GIS interns throughout the academic year.
