*Message sent from a system outside of UConn.* Happy Tuesday NEARC Community- It's been just over a month since the Fall Conference and I am still reminiscing about what a success it was! We had a higher than expected turnout which shows the support and strength that our community has!!! THANK YOU to all of you who attended, THANK YOU to the vendors and sponsors who year after year support this group, a big THANK YOU to Delaney for leading the conference planning, and a THANK YOU to all of the Board of Directors that continue to lead the NEARC community and conferences forward. This year we had to say goodbye to Esther Olsson Murphy and Emily Wilson who completed their Director duties at Mt. Washington. We will remain grateful for their time and commitment to the NEARC community and honored to have learned a lot from each of them. To fill their seats, two new members were elected to the Board of Directors-- Rob Craig and Anita Beinikis!!! Welcome to the group and we are excited to have you on board. We also had several board positions transition to new board members. Pam DeAndrea transitioned to Treasurer and Nate Ward transitioned to Secretary. Erica Teft, a valued director, has led the charge on engaging the higher ed community and scoping out locations for the Spring 2023 conference. And what you all have been wondering-- I, Brittany Hoffnagle have transitioned to Chair while Katie Grillo transitions to ex-chair. I can't imagine a NEARC board without Katie Grillo as she was my cohort when I first joined the board in 2018. I am excited to learn from her and continue to lead this great community.
