As a follow up to Aleda’s email below, I whipped up a script (hosted notebook) that you can run inside of ArcGIS Online which will search all of the webmaps you have access to in the org and report ones that have any of these URLs below.

Notes:

I’m pretty sure other tools exist for searching for servers (e.g. geojobe admin tools etc) but this at least will get you something.

THE SCIENCE OF WHERE®

Subject: MassGIS domain name URL expiration for ArcGIS Server (AGOL), GeoServer and maps server services

For several years MassGIS has been maintaining both old (*.state.ma.us) and new (*.digital.mass.gov) style domain names for three servers:

MassGIS ArcGIS Server:

Older style:   https://gisprpxy.itd.state.ma.us/arcgisserver  (Expires on:  February 16, 2023)

  Newer style: https://arcgisserver.digital.mass.gov

MassGIS GeoServer:

Older style:   https://giswebservices.massgis.state.ma.us (Expires on: March 17, 2023)

  Newer style: https://gis-prod.digital.mass.gov

MassGIS "maps" web server:

Older style:   https://maps.massgis.state.ma.us (Expires on: March 24, 2023)

  Newer style: https://maps.massgis.digital.mass.gov

Both sets of domain names point to the same place.   However, EOTSS would like us to retire the older style names.  (Maintaining both carries additional cost, effort, and confusion and EOTSS has publicized that *.mass.gov style addresses as the "official" ones.)

We're asking you to check your applications and update any old-style URLs.  If you are using MassGIS data in an ArcGIS Online web map or web app you may need to delete and re-add the data (we've updated the URLs in our AGOL account).  In addition, if you are using the http:// protocol we would recommend the https:// one.

Step-by-step ArcGIS Online Assistant for AGOL: https://www.mass.gov/important-changes/massgis-url-domain-changes-for-map-services [mass.gov]

We have modified our logs so we can see when requests are coming in via the various domain names and we are happy to work with you on this process.

Thank you,

Aleda
