Announcing the new Women in GIS - Northeast Chapter

NEURISA is very excited to announce the new Women in GIS (WiGIS) Northeast Chapter! Women in GIS is an inclusive group of women and allies coming together to provide support, resources, and opportunities for success as you navigate your geospatial career. Everyone is welcome here. Women in GIS Chapters are a great way for women and allies to come together in a specific state, region, or area. We are so excited to announce the formation of the Women in GIS Northeast Chapter!

Northeast Chapter Details

• WiGIS Liaisons:  Katie Grillo and Jennie Byron
• Area covered:  New England plus New York. This includes Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and New York. Anyone is welcome to join this community! 
• Activities:  Collaborations with other regional GIS organizations, especially the Northeast ArcGIS Users Group (NEARC) and New England URISA (NEURISA). Mentoring and career support, skills development, education, and more.
