What will you be doing? 
The GIS Project Manager will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of GIS solutions to existing clients and cultivating new business opportunities.  In this role, you will work closely with existing and potential clients to understand their GIS needs, develop proposals that include scope, schedules, and fees that meet their requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing the work of a team of GIS professionals, ensuring projects are completed on time, and within budget, while communicating progress and status updates to clients.

What do you need? 
To be qualified for the GIS Project Manager role, you should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Data Science. A GISP certification is preferred but not required. You should have at least 10 years of experience using Esri’s product suite, have experience supervising teams, and serving as the subject matter expert for GIS projects. In terms of knowledge, skills, and abilities, you should have advanced knowledge of ESRI’s GIS products, including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. You should have the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management, build effective teams, motivate others, delegate effectively, and foster inclusion. You should be able to coordinate and collaborate GIS activities across multi-disciplinary teams.
