GIS Professionals and Geomentors!
Do you know a student who has a story to tell about New Hampshire?
Help them turn their story into a Story Map and enter them into the
2023 NH Student Storytelling Competition
for a chance at a $100 prize,
sponsored by Esri and brought to you by NHEdGIS and NHSTE!!
Esri challenges US students to conduct and share projects about something in their home state. Esri's 2023 ArcGIS Online Competition is open to high school (gr.9-12) and middle school (gr.4-8) students, clubs,
and home schools.
To Enter
-
Teachers or leaders
register to let NHEdGIS know they plan to participate.
-
Students research a topic and create an
ArcGIS Story Map. Students can work individually or in pairs. Story Maps can be about any topic,
but must be related somehow to the State of New Hampshire. Check out the past winners!
-
Schools (clubs or home schools) submit their top 5 student Story Maps by
5pm ET on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 using this
entry form. Submit one form per Story Map.
-
We highly encourage teachers (clubs or home schools) to gather
permission forms
for all entries. All state finalists will need a signed permission form.
Prizes
- The top 5 middle school and top 5 high school Story Maps in NH will win a $100 prize and will be submitted to the 2023 National ArcGIS Online U.S. School
