The certificate can be completed in one or two years. All courses are offered online/remote and fit the working professional’s schedule. Just take it from me – after earning my BA and MSc in Geography, I completed the GIST certificate program at MCC in 2020 and the micro-credential program at MCC in 2023, all while working full-time in the GIS field! I love the program and courses offered at MCC so much that I am continuing on to finish up the GIST Associates in Applied Sciences as well.
