Introduction to GPS Mapping with Avenza Maps – Haddam, CT, January 26, 2024

The University of Connecticut's Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR) is holding a half-day, hands-on workshop, Introduction to GPS Mapping with Avenza Maps, at the Middlesex County Extension Center in Haddam, CT.  Avenza Maps is a free GPS mapping app for iOS Apple and Android devices. This workshop will teach participants how to use the app on their own device to collect GPS tracks, placemarks, and geolocated photographs. Additional workshop details provided on program website. 

 

Workshop Date: January 26, 2024 (snow date Jan 31)

Time: 9 AM - 12:30 PM

Location: Middlesex County Extension Center, 1066 Saybrook Road, Haddam, CT

Fee: $50 (includes workshop instruction, materials and light morning refreshments)

Note: this is a "Bring Your Own Devices" workshop. Participants will need an iOS Apple or Android device and a laptop. Loaner laptops are available upon request.
