Greetings all:
Join us on Tue 5 March 2024 9:00am Pacific Time for: Teaching and learning with ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World apps
Description: ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World offers a large collection of curated content from authoritative sources from around the world. Living Atlas apps bring that content together in expressive ways, covering topics such as changes in land use, precipitation, urbanization, erosion, agriculture, weather, and many others across natural and social sciences. Using these apps does not require signing in, so they are immediately accessible to anyone. Using Living Atlas apps in instruction fosters skills in spatial and holistic thinking, and enables students to explore the world of GIS. Join Dr. Joseph Kerski and Bern Szukalski as we demonstrate how and when to teach with these and also how to use their underlying data for deeper investigations.
Presenters:
* Dr Joseph Kerski - Education Manager, Geographer, Esri
* Bernard Szukalski - Esri Corporate Technology Evangelist and Product Advocate
