Hello NEARC -- Here's a particularly good interactive map of light pollution. It has good layers, it's based on good physics (analysis tools) and offers different years. Good science through GIS. Needless to say, this is mostly wasted light shining up at the satellite and a good place to cut electrical waste and CO2. https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flighttrends.lightpollutionmap.info%2F%23zoom%3D6%26lon%3D-72.26531%26lat%3D42.70099&data=02%7C01%7CNEARC-L%40listserv.uconn.edu%7Cadab119b175e48ceceee08d6a27c6bc9%7C17f1a87e2a254eaab9df9d439034b080%7C0%7C1%7C636875052599707717&sdata=a%2B6gasei1eJ6zMBtgVR3ryq3KoRue2J9f0XFDh0BfF0%3D&reserved=0 https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sciencemag.org%2Fnews%2F2019%2F03%2Fqa-new-light-pollution-tracking-tool-physicist-s-bright-idea&data=02%7C01%7CNEARC-L%40listserv.uconn.edu%7Cadab119b175e48ceceee08d6a27c6bc9%7C17f1a87e2a254eaab9df9d439034b080%7C0%7C1%7C636875052599707717&sdata=u9SOsXi3B%2FjMj47m3LAluOANcCGOP2LWxXq5UZKaVn4%3D&reserved=0 -- Andy Kuether Northampton MA ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This list (NEARC-L) is an unmoderated discussion list for all NEARC Users.
